Crash causes delays on A1 in Stamford

The road has since been reopened by Leicestershire Police

Part of the A1 in Stamford has reopened after a crash earlier today - but National Highways is warning motorists to expect delays.

Leicestershire Police closed the Northbound route between the A606 in Stamford and the B668 in Stretton earlier this afternoon.

The accident happened at around 12.30pm.

Emergency services have not confirmed any injuries.
