Rutland County Councillor leaves cabinet role for health reasons

Rutland County Councillor Marc Oxley has stepped down from his cabinet role for health reasons.

He was portfolio holder for communities, environment and climate change.

Cllr Oxley (Ind and Greens Group) will continue to serve as a ward member for Uppingham until Rutland’s next local government elections in May 2023.

Portfolio holder duties for communities, environment and climate change will be shared among the remaining members of cabinet, as follows: Leisure – Cllr Samantha Harvey (Ind); Culture – Cllr Lucy Stephenson (Con); and Environment, Climate Change and Community Safety – Cllr Rosemary Powell (Con).
