Azmat Mavani is a Debt advisor at Citizens Advice in South Lincolnshire and covers the Stamford area.
He says reasons include redundancy and the numbers not eligible for Government help like the furlough scheme.
He also says it's crucial people with money worries come forward and get help as soon as possible.
It's likely they'll feel better when they see what options are available and break down the debt into separate parts to make it easier to plan how they'll be addressed.
