Appeal after Peterborough collision
A 51 year old woman is in a stable condition in hospital
A pedestrian has been left with life-changing injuries after being hit by a car in Peterborough.
The collision took place at 7.51am yesterday, Wednesday 17th December, at a set of traffic lights on Thorpe Road.
A 23-year-old man from Rutland, the driver of the grey Ford Ranger involved in the collision, was interviewed at the scene and is helping officers with their enquiries.
The pedestrian, a 51-year-old woman from Peterborough, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge where she remains in a serious but stable condition.
