Haider Ali drove at almost twice the speed limit in Huntingdon

A man who drove dangerously in Huntingdon at almost twice the speed limit in an attempt to flee police has been jailed for a year and a half.
Officers decided to follow 27-year-old Haider Ali in March 2024 after they saw his car driving in a loop.
Ali drove at 50mph in a 30 zone, and went off-road along an alleyway.
He crashed on Nene Road and attempted to run on foot but was arrested nearby.
He was found guilty of dangerous driving.
He's been jailed and disqualified from driving for three years.
