A Stamford woman's been left in a serious condition in hospital after a single vehicle crash near Wittering.
It happened around 8.30pm on Saturday evening on the southbound A1 when a car reportedly left the road and hit a tree.
The driver a woman in her 30's and the passenger a man in his 30's from Peterborough both are in a serious but stable condition.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident
