A new Aqua Park that will feature the largest collection of bespoke inflatable obstacles is set to open at Rutland Water next weekend.

Featuring more than 40 obstacles the park is an ideal place to take the kids over the summer months.

This year there will be a new attraction, The Sea Dragon which is a nod to a discovery made in 2021 at the site by Joe Davis, who works at Rutland Nature Reserve. It was during a routine draining of the lagoon that Joe found a fossil of an Ichthyosaur. The fossil was estimated to be 180 million years old and put Rutland in the national spotlight.

As the park is an active attraction you must be ages 6+ and over 1.2 m in height as well as be able to swim 25 m to take part.
