Woman falls from window of Plymouth property
A man's been arrested
A woman in her 20s is in hospital in a critical condition after falling from a window at a property in Plymouth.
Police say they were alerted at 9:20 this morning.
A 35-year-old man's been arrested on suspicion of False Imprisonment.
Devon and Cornwall Police have issued this statement:
“Police were notified at around 9.20am on Saturday 16 September to reports that a woman had fallen from a window at a property in Plymouth.
Emergency Services attended the property on Marlborough Street where a woman in her 20s was taken to Derriford Hospital in a critical condition.
Her next of kin have been informed.
We currently have a scene guard in place at the property which is expected to remain for the rest of the day. Officers will also be present conducting house-to-house enquiries.
We have arrested a 35-year-old man from Plymouth on suspicion of False Imprisonment and remains in police custody.
We are in the initial stages of this investigation as we endeavour to establish the facts surrounding the incident.
