'We'll respond to concerns promptly' over festive period
Operational and front-line teams will be on standby say the water firm
South West Water say they'll be responding to 'everyday water and sewage issues promptly' during the festive period.
They've issued an update that 'operational and front-line teams will be on standby' and 'customer teams will also be available as usual, providing assistance and answering enquiries to make sure our customers have the support they need during the holiday season'.
In a statement the water firm said: "One part of our commitment to the community is our increased support for Christmas Day swims and other festive events along the stunning 820m coastline of the South West.
"We recognise the significance of these traditions. Our teams are working closely with event organisers to provide extra support, ensuring that these events run as smoothly and safely as possible."
