Health bosses in Devon are warning they're seeing increasing numbers of patients with numb feet - which could be a sign of diabetes.

Consultant Richard Collings is urging sufferers to get checked, saying it's something he's noticing in the 44,000 podiatry patients they see each year across the Torbay and South Devon NHS Trust area.

Diabetes foot disease costs the NHS approx £1 billion per year and over 170 people every week with have a diabetes related amputation in the lower limb, changing their lives forever.
