Warm space 'remains a vital lifeline for our community' says charity
The 'warm space' service at The Buckland Centre has returned for a second Winter
A Devon charity which is now offering a 'warm space' for a second Winter have told us they think the service could be needed for many more years to come.
The Buckland Centre offers a place to meet and get advice and it has been so popular it carried on all Summer too - with those who run it now saying they don't imagine the service will stop being in demand anytime soon.
Across Devon the the number of so-called 'heat-banks' keep rising, with similar services in Somerset also continuing through the warmer months and into a second Winter.
The Buckland Centre, run by Newton Abbot CIC, is also offering support for parents and children this half term.
