Update following death of young man at Cornish beauty spot

Five people have entered pleas at Truro Crown Court

Pleas have been entered following the death of a young man at a beauty spot in Cornwall.

Callum Hill from Plymouth was found with serious injuries at Kit Hill near Callington last March.

The 22-year-old died two days later.

Andrew Hatrey, 38, from Callington, and Kristian Humphries, 30, from Gunnislake, were charged with murder and remanded in custody last month.

Appearing at Truro Crown Court on Tuesday 2nd March, both have pleaded not guilty to the charge.

27-year-old Alexander 'Billy' Humphries, from Callington, is charged with assault causing grievous bodily harm with intent against Hatrey and conspiracy to commit violent disorder.

He also pleaded not guilty.

Daniel Humphries, 24, from Callington, was charged with conspiracy to commit violent disorder, and has also entered a not guilty plea.

A trial is due to start on the 24th August.

Meanwhile Terri Underwood, 40, from the village of St Ive in East Cornwall, has admitted to perverting the course of justice.
