Two taken to hospital after house fire in Plymouth
Fire crews say the blaze - which caused extensive fire and smoke damage - was started accidentally.
Two people have been taken to hospital after a house fire in Plymouth.
Devon and Somerset Fire Service say they were called by one of the house's residents at 9:12pm to reports of a fire in the house's bathroom.
Crews from five stations across the county attended - with six sets of breathing apparatus, three hose reel jets, three safety jets and one aerial ladder used to extinguish the fire.
The fire spread to the house's roof, and suffered extensive fire and smoke damage.
It also spread to a neighbouring property.
Both people taken to hospital had to be rescued after being trapped in the property.
There's no further update on their condition.
Devon and Somerset Fire Service say the fire was started accidentally, and that their investigations have concluded.
