Two men in police custody after assaulting two officers in Plymouth

Two officers have been assaulted after trying to calm down a family party in Plymouth.
Police were called to a property in Kingswear Crescent last night with reports of a domestic disturbance.
A male officer was grabbed around the throat and the other female officer was grabbed and put in a headlock.
Two men have been arrested and remain in police custody.
The Plymouth Response A Section Team tweeted about the incident last night.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said:
"Police were called to an address on Kingswear Crescent, Plymouth, last night at around 8pm with a report of a domestic disturbance.
"Two officers attended and both were assaulted; one male officer was grabbed around the throat, the other female officer was grabbed and put in a headlock when she tried to assist her colleague.
"An 18-year-old man from Plymouth was arrested on suspicion of assaulting two police officers, and affray, and is in custody this morning.
"A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of affray and is in police custody this morning."
