Torbay bids for paddleboard world record - to raise awareness of water safety

The annual event will see around 1,000 people taking part

Up to 1,000 stand up paddleboarders will all take to the water at the same time this weekend - as they bid to break a world record in Torbay

The event aims to raise awareness of water safety and also raise money for charity, with proceeds going to the RNLI, Above Water and Rowcroft Hospice.
