Death of Tiverton woman no longer being treated as suspicious
A man initially arrested as part of enquiries has since been released without charge
The death of a woman aged in her 50s in Tiverton is no longer being treated as suspicious by police.
Officers were called to an address on Bluebell Avenue on Friday (22 October).
The new conclusion comes after an extensive investigation and results of a forensic post-mortem.
The criminal investigation has ceased. A man aged in his 60s, initially arrested as part of enquiries, has been released without charge and no further policing action will be taken.
The enquiry will now be formally handed over to the HM Coroner with supportive actions conducted by Devon and Cornwall Police.
