Thousands of pounds worth of cannabis discovered in Mutley
Officers seized the plants and arrested four people
A large-scale cannabis cultivation has been discovered by police in Plymouth.
Officers say the plants they found 100 plants in a property on Ivydale Road in Mutley on Monday (24 May) and they could be worth thousands of pounds.
PC Jon Hitt from the Charles Cross police team tweeted saying it was discovered after some "very dedicated, persistent & inquisitive policing"
Four people were arrested and taken into custody, and the cannabis has been seized.
Devon & Cornwall Police have told us:
"Police arrested a 34-year-old man from Plymouth on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug (cannabis), cultivation of cannabis and possession of a controlled class B drug, who has been released on police bail, to return on Tuesday 22 June, pending further enquiries.
"Three other men, a 27-year-old, a 40-year-old and a 44-year-old, all from Plymouth, were also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug (cannabis) and have been released under investigation, pending further enquiries.
