Third teenager arrested in connection with attempted murder in Exeter
An 18-year-old remains in Derriford Hospital with serious leg and head injuries
A third man has been arrested in connection with an attempted murder in Exeter.
It happened on Lancelot Road, Beacon Heath at around 11.30pm on Tuesday 27 April.
An 18-year-old was taken to Derriford Hospital with serious leg and head injuries following the attack, where he remains.
The two men who were previously arrested are believed to be known to the victim.
All three remain in police custody.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said:
"Police have arrested another teenager in connection with an attack on a male at an address on Lancelot Road, Beacon Heath, Exeter, at around 11.30pm on Tuesday 27 April.
"Officers attended the address and an 18-year-old man was found to have sustained serious leg and head injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth where he remains in a serious condition.
"Police arrested a 17-year-old male from Cranbrook and an 18-year-old male from Exeter, who are believed to be known to the victim, on suspicion of attempted murder. They remain in police custody while enquiries continue.
"Police have now arrested a third male, a 17-year-old from Exeter, who is also believed to be known to the victim, on suspicion of attempted murder, and he is in police custody this morning."
