Plymouth's £47 million cultural attraction is looking for a new boss.

The Box museum's interim boss Paul Brookes has stood down from his role after seven years.

He was always due to leave once the museum opened.

An advert on ArtJobsOnline says they are seeking 'exceptional' candidates and 'experienced leaders'.

They add that: "The Chief Executive will be a key ambassador for The Box on the national and international stage, with the gravitas and communication skills to match."

Since The Box opened last year, it has welcomed more than 30,000 visitors.

The project has transformed three historic city centre buildings, augmenting them with an ambitious contemporary extension, unique ‘archive in the sky’ and a new public square and gathering space.
