Snow has been causing major disruption across Devon and Cornwall this morning, with travel delays and school closures.

It comes amid a yellow weather warning snow, which covers most of Devon and parts of Cornwall and Somerset. It's in force until 3pm today (Thursday 21 November).

The South West is also covered by a UK Health Security cold-health alert until Saturday 23 November at 6pm.

The snow has been impacting traffic, with some roads across both counties reported to be "impassable". Motorists are being urged to take extra care on their journeys.

A number of schools across Devon and Cornwall will be shut today as a result of the weather. You can find the full list for Cornwall here and for Devon here.
