A new partnership has seen school children take part in a litter pick on Drake's Island, out in Plymouth Sound.

Since businessman Morgan Phillips took over the island in 2019, he's made it his mission to preserve its ecology and habitats.

His vision includes keeping the beach and foreshore free from the waste that washes up daily.

Around 20 youngsters from the University Technical College in Devonport were litter picking there yesterday, along with Til the Coast is Clear, a non-profit organisation based in South Devon.
