Britain's Ocean City Running Series to pay tribute to Keyham shooting victims
Organisers are asking all athletes to wear an item of green to the event next month
The victims of the shooting in Plymouth will be remembered at the Britain's Ocean City Running Series next month.
Athletes are being asked to wear an item of green as a mark of a respect.
The Redrok Events team say it can be anything from clothing to face paint. A spokesperson said:
"The Redrok Events team were deeply saddened with the tragedy that took place in Keyham on Thursday 12th August where 5 members of our Plymouth community sadly lost their lives.
"As a mark of respect, we are asking all athletes to wear an item of green on Sunday 5 September.
"This can be clothing, shoelaces, face paint, arm band or anything else suitable. Our events team will be on hand with green ribbons on the morning of the event in the 5k/10k congregation area and at the Redrok Events Expo stand.
"Together we will remember the lives lost, and show our support to their families, loved ones, and all those who have been affected."
