The RSPCA Little Valley Animal Centre in Exeter is hoping to find the perfect home for a rabbit who has sadly been overlooked for 166 days.

Rosie, the black and white, one year old female rabbit, came into the care of the centre in September last year (2021), as her previous owner could no longer care for her due to ill health.

The charity say she needs a home with an experienced rabbit owner, who will give her the space and time she needs to settle in.

Jo Evans, Shelter Manager at RSPCA Little Valley, said: "Rosie hasn’t had the best start on life and she has now been looking for a home for 166 days so we’re really keen to find her a second chance at happiness.

"She can be a little sassy sometimes but we know that with lots of space, time and patience, Rosie will make a wonderful pet.

"She is looking to live with a neutered male rabbit who can become her bunny companion. Rabbits are incredibly sociable animals and so we are keen for her to be rehomed with another existing rabbit."

The RSPCA say Rosie will need an outdoor home consisting of a large shed or Wendy house enclosure with an attached run or preferably free range of the garden so she can get lots of exercise and explore.

They add that due to her wariness around people sometimes, and her dislike of being handled, Rosie is looking for an adult-only home with no visiting children.
