Campaigners trying to raise £500,000 to help save an outdoor Devon swimming pool are staging a series of fundraising events - and are urging users of the pool to support them
So far more than £3,000 has been crowdfunded for the free to-use Shoalstone Pool in Brixham - which opened in the 1920s.
Engineers have warned it could wash into the sea in three to five years, as a crack grows in the sea wall.
Trustee Kim Jackson worries it could vanish even sooner, saying: "One more Storm Emma and the pool could be lost to the sea forever."
On Easter Sunday there's a fundraiser planned where dogs can enter the pool for £3 - before it is cleaned afterwards - to help raise funds to save the facility. Details here |newtab)
