Police investigate 'unexplained death' of Plymouth woman
One man is in custody assisting officers with enquiries
Devon and Cornwall police are investigating the circumstances of the death of a woman who was found at a property in Plymouth today (Thursday 16 December).
Authorities were called to Lipstone Crescent at 8.20am this morning following concerns for the welfare of a female resident at the house.
The woman is believed to be in her 30s and next of kin have been informed, although formal identification has not yet taken place.
Police are currently treating the death as unexplained with one man in custody.
