Police appeal following hit and run in Plymouth

Police are asking for witnesses after a man was struck by a vehicle while crossing the road on Thursday

Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing for witnesses and any dash-cam footage following a hit and run in Plymouth on Thursday 13 March.

It was reported a man was struck by a vehicle while crossing the road under the railway bridge between Pennycomequick Roundabout and Derrys Cross Roundabout between 9.30pm and 10pm.

The man was taken to hospital as a result and received treatment for a broken hand.

Following the incident the driver then left the scene.

It is believed the driver may have been in a Nissan Qashqai, dark blue or purple in colour.

Officers investigating the incident are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or who has relevant dash-cam footage to get in touch quoting 50250064033.
