Police appeal after man punched in face outside Plymouth pub

The 18-year-old was left with serious facial injuries

Witnesses are being sought following an unprovoked attack on a teenager in Plymouth.

It happened outside The Ships Tavern at around 9.30am on Saturday 31 October.

The 18-year-old was punched in the face by another male causing serious facial injuries.

The assault took place at the back of the pub, which is on Arcadia Street, via a side fire exit which is used as a smoking area.

Detectives would like to hear from witnesses of the assault or anyone who was in the pub that night and can offer any information which could assist their enquiries.
