Imagine having to restrain a violent prisoner who had recently tested positive for COVID.

Now imagine having to do it head to toe in protective equipment.

That is exactly what the Plymouth Police A Section Response Team had to do and they said it took them 'hours'.

In the replies, people have expressed their thanks to the team for all of their work:

"Good work folks. Having been there multiple times these last 12months I know it’s no easy. Hopefully the Sgt bought you all some cakes as a thank you!"

"Well done team. Not the most comfortable of jobs I suspect! Hope you’ve all recovered."

"You all have my greatest respect. Hope you are all ok."
