Elizabeth and Howard Hudson have been discharged from the Red Zone together
University Hospitals Plymouth has shared a touching video of a couple leaving the COVID ward at Derriford together.
Elizabeth and Howard Hudson have been discharged from the Red Zone, after being admitted with the virus at the beginning of this month.
The Trust say they remained side by side on the ward until they recovered.
Staff applauded the pair as they left the hospital. Elizabeth and Howard thanked all of those who were there to wave them off.
