An organisation that works in schools in Devon and Cornwall is hoping to raise £20,000 to get the word out about environmental issues.

Seadream Education's running a Crowdfunder to help fund its outreach projects in STEM subjects in coastal communities.

They say they want to "inspire climate action" to "foster a brighter future for our planet".

The non-profitmaking company uses things like VR headsets with 360 degree footage capturing life below and above the waves around the South Devon and Cornish coastline.

Founder and Marine Biologist Dr Juliette Jackson said: "We've got some amazing footage of mother and calf dolphins, mass crab gatherings, a heritage sailing boat - the Vigiliance of Brixham. We share that in schools, clubs and at public events."

Seadream Education deliver activities across the South West, to share "positive environmental messages" and to celebrate their own scientific conservation research and activity.

They're asking for the public's support in their Crowdfunder so they continue their engagement with coastal communities.

The fundraiser closes this weekend and so far they've raised over £10,000.
