Motorcyclist suffers 'serious life changing injuries' in Plymouth crash

Police are appealing for information following a serious crash in Plymouth.

It happened on the junction of Outland Road and Ham Drive just before midnight yesterday (Thursday 18 November).

It involved two vehicles, a Silver Daihatsu and a Blue Honda Motorcycle.

The motorcyclist suffered serious life changing injuries as a result of the collision and is receiving treatment at Derriford Hospital.

A spokesperson Devon and Cornwall Police said: "At around 11.55pm on Thursday 18 November 2021 a two-vehicle road traffic collision occurred involving a Silver Daihatsu and a Blue Honda Motorcycle, at the junction with Outland Road and Ham Drive in Plymouth, Devon.

"As a result of the collision, the male motorcyclist suffered serious life changing injuries and is receiving treatment at Derriford Hospital.

"Local officers as well as Officers from the Alliance Firearms and Roads Policing Team attended the scene. Once an investigation had been conducted the road was re-opened."
