Ministers 'correcting' Plymouth's place in tier system after 'error'
The City Council say we will be in a High Alert area due to the change in criteria

Plymouth City Council says the Government made an 'error' by leaving Plymouth off its list of tiers.
Yesterday (26 November) it was announced that our city would be entering Tier 2 restrictions when lockdown ends next week.
Ministers have now said that they will be correcting the criteria, but Plymouth will remain in a High Alert area for the time being.
It means that you must not socialise with anyone you do not live with or is not in your support bubble in any indoor setting.
The rule of six still applies, meaning you cannot socialise in a group larger than this outside - including in a garden or a public space.
Pubs and bars must close, unless operating as restaurants and hospitality venues can only serve alcohol with substantial meals.
Leader of the City Council, Tudor Evans, says it is at least a 'relief' that businesses can reopen and start trading again:
"It's been very tough for all businesses – particularly the hospitality and retail sector so it is crucial that we all help our businesses.
"I would urge people to shop local and use the stores that employ local people – but do so safely."
Most City Council services have continued to operate during the lockdown but many had to close.
From next week, places such as libraries and The Box will re-open with Covid-secure measures in place to keep visitors safe.
Brickfields Sports Centre and Plympton Swimming Pool will also start welcoming people back on Wednesday 2 December.
