Met Office issue yellow weather warning for rain

Heavy rain could bring disruption across the South West today (Thursday 15 February).

The Met Office have issued a yellow weather warning from 11.00am - 11.59pm.

The national weather service say it could impact travel, with spray and flooding making journey times longer.

Today's forecast from the Met Office says: "A cloudy start for most, with some brighter spells possible around Somerset and Dorset. Rain will soon sweep in from the west, often with some heavy outbreaks during the day. Breezy around coasts to start. Feeling mild. Maximum temperature 13 °C."

There are a number of a flood alerts in force, including in the Upper and Mid Bristol Avon areas and for South East Somerset Rivers.
