Man stabbed in Plymouth
It happened in Ernesettle on Thursday morning
A man's suffered serious injuries following a stabbing in Plymouth.
It happened in the Hawkinge Gardens area of Ernesettle at about 3.30am on Thursday 5th January.
The victim, a man in his 30s, received a number of knife wounds.
He was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
A 30-year-old man from Plymouth has been arrested on suspicion of assault GBH. He remains in police custody.
The suspect and the victim are believed to be known to each other.
Police say they want to hear from witnesses, or anyone who may have dashcam footage or CCTV which may assist with enquiries.
