Man in hospital after Exeter stabbing

Police say the attacker and victim were known to each other

A man's in hospital following a knife attack in Exeter.

Police were called shortly after 9.45pm on 25 July to Whipton Village Road, Exeter.

It was reported that a 22-year-old man had been assaulted and sustained a stab wound to the torso. He remains in the care of the hospital.

Officers believe that the suspect and victim are known to each other and detectives in Exeter are progressing enquiries.
