Man charged with attempted murder following Plymouth stabbing
A woman was taken to hospital and is expected to make a full recovery
A woman has sustained a stab wound following a serious assault in Plymouth.
Police were called to an address in Francis Street, Stonehouse, at around 11.35pm on Saturday (27 August).
A 34-year-old woman was taken to Derriford Hospital by ambulance. Her injuries are not considered to be life threatening and is expected to make a full recovery.
Following a police investigation, one man has been charged in connection to this matter.
David MacCallum aged 42 from Stonehouse has been charged with attempted murder.
He has been held in remand and was due before Plymouth Magistrates Court yesterday (Monday 29 August).
