Man arrested on suspicion of causing GBH after Plymouth stabbing

Police say the victim sustained injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing

Police were called to Regent Street car park in Plymouth this morning (Monday 3 March) at around 5.20am following reports that a man had been stabbed.

The victim is a man in his 40s. Officers say his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

A scene guard remains in place.

A 44-year-old man from Plymouth has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He remains in police custody at this time.

Police say it is believed the suspect and the victim are known to each other.
