A Plymouth post box has been decorated with a knitted tribute to the Olympics and the city's very own Tom Daley.

The diver has been competing at the Games in Paris this week, securing silver in the men's 10m synchronised event alongside Noah Williams.

It was the first Olympic medal for Williams - with silver completing the collection for Daley, who has three bronzes and one gold.

The knitted display in Plymouth was created by a woman who lives locally, and someone has since put a medal around his neck following the duo's win this week.

Other people have been sharing their similar Paris Olympics-themed creations in the replies to the post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Daley captured the heart of the nation with his knitting antics in Tokyo - self proclaiming his success for 'Team Great Knitting'. He was spotted knitting in the crowd once again at this year's event in France.
