"On arrival crews confirmed this out building was well alight and asked for a further 2 Fire Engines. These were sent from Camels Head and Crownhill.

"This building measured 20m x 30m and was used as a farm outbuilding and contained farm machinery a diesel tank and an unknown quantity of fertilizer.

"Further assistance was requested, so another Fire Engine from Yelverton and Plymstock, plus a Water Bowser from Plympton, a Command Support Unit from Totnes, Welfare Unit from Ivybridge and an Incident Support Unit from Bovey Tracey were all sent.
