Local proclamations get underway in Devon
Events have been taking place to proclaim the new King in places like Torbay, Exeter and Plymouth

Union flags are being flown at half-mast across Devon to mark the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II - with more than 1,000 people joining together to sing the national anthem in Exeter on Sunday.
On Monday proclamations will take place in Tiverton, Totnes, Tavistock, Barnstaple and Newton Abbot (links below).
The National Proclamation, the official announcement of Her Majesty’s death and acknowledgement of the commencement of the King’s new reign, took place on Saturday at St James's Palace.
The Lord-Lieutenant of Devon, as His Majesty’s representative, held the official announcement of the new King at county hall on Sunday - with the proclamation read by the High Sheriff of Devon, Richard Youngman.
The outdoor ceremony was live-streamed to enable people to watch the proclamation from home or remotely.
Floral tributes have started to be left across the county and members of the public are being asked to please be 'mindful of the environment and remove wrapping or choose biodegradable items'.
After the county hall proclamation, ceremonies were held in Plymouth, Exeter and Torquay.
The district councils in Devon are holding their proclamations on Monday.
In Torbay the proclamation will be read at 3.30pm in the front of the Town Hall, in Torquay.
The event in Barnstaple which will be held outside the Guildhall, Butchers Row at 10am.
The Teignbridge proclamation will take place in the grounds of Old Forde House, Newton Abbot at 10am
The Mid Devon proclamation of the new King takes place at 10am outside Phoenix House in Tiverton.
The South Hams proclamation is at 10am at Follaton House in Totnes
The West Devon proclamation is 10am at Kilworthy Park in Tavistock
