Simply Red announce Gabrielle as special guest for Plymouth concert
The singer shot to the top of the charts with her debut hit single "Dreams" in 1993

One of the most iconic female British artists from the past 30 years is going to be a special guest for Simply Red at their concert in Plymouth this summer.
Gabrielle will join the line up at Central Park on Sunday 10 July 2022.
Gabrielle shot to the top of the charts with her debut hit single "Dreams", which spent three weeks at #1 in the summer of 1993.
Her second #1 single, "Rise", followed in 2000 and was embraced by fans as an anthem that helped them inspire them to keep the faith that better days would follow in the future.
Her catalogue of hits includes a further eight Top 10 hits, most notably "Out Of Reach" (which featured in Bridget Jones’s Diary), "If You Ever" (with East 17) and "Give Me A Little More Time".
When asked about joining Mick Hucknall and his multi award-winning band on these dates Gabrielle said: "I am really looking forward to sharing the stage with the legends that are Simply Red.
"Being back in the open air singing in the sun is something we’ve all so looked forward to and, after such a difficult couple of years for everyone, it will be amazing to see people able to come together again through the power of music."
