There's a number of flood warnings in force across Devon and Somerset - after 30-mill of rain fell over the past 12 hours in some areas.

Areas around the River Axe have been hardest hit, with schools closed across Devon and Somerset - due to problems with reaching the sites.

There has also been some disruption on the trains and there's a plea to not drive into flood water.

The latest advice can be found here which warns: "Flooding to Riverside property and highways is expected imminently.

"Property flooding is expected at Chard Junction, and Axe Farm, Coaxdon and Weycroft cottages at Broom.

"Highway flooding is expected at Tytherleigh and Broom, the A358 crossing at Weycroft, the A35 at Yarty Bridge, the A3052 at Colyford, and Whitford to Musbury.

"There will be deep and fast flowing field flooding between Winsham and Axminster."
