Three people have been treated by paramedics after a house fire in Torquay.

Fire control were called to a report of a television on fire at Victoria Road Torquay three appliances were mobilised two from Torquay, one from Paignton with the Aerial Ladder Platform from Torquay and a supervisor Officer.

Crews from Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue battled the blaze on the first floor room of a residential property and got to work using breathing apparatus and a safety jet.

South West Ambulance attended for three casualties suffering from smoke inhalation, who have been dealt with by paramedics.

Crew have dealt with the fire with two breathing apparatus, one safety jet, one thermal image camera, positive pressure ventilation and a gas alarm used.
