Police in Cornwall say they're still dealing with an illegal rave this morning.

Road restrictions and cordons are in place.

In a post online, the force say the event in the Camelford area is 'unacceptable' and those attending are placing themselves and the public at risk.

They've urged people not to approach the area and say anyone caught could be arrested.

Online, some people living in the area have posted about their frustrations - saying they're struggling to get around due to vehicles left in narrow lanes.

In an update just after 10am, a force spokesperson told Pirate FM: "Police were attended the A395 in Camelford shortly before midnight following a report of a large number of cars turning off the carriageway towards woodlands.

"We received further information about a suspected illegal rave in the area.

"There is a road closure in place on the A395 and officers in the area to prevent others entering."
