Exmouth repairs 'could take weeks' warns South West Water boss

The boss of south west water has apologised for the latest disruption over the weekend - as she warned the work in Exmouth could take a few more weeks

CEO Susan Davey has given an update (which you can see here) after a pollution incident on Friday caused people to avoid the water over the weekend.

Just weeks ago the local MP had warned that tourism was being damaged by a 'do not swim' notice at Exmouth as a result of previous pollution

Earlier this month The Environment Agency warned it is now 'putting pressure' on South West Water

There's currently another pollution alert in force for the beach at Exmouth, following the latest rainfall overnight
