More than 700 people are expected to march through Exeter this weekend

Exeter's Pride returns this weekend, after being postponed last year due to a lack of funds.
More than 700 people are expected to march through the city centre at midday on Saturday with activities in Northernhay Gardens, the library, Ramm Museum and Phoenix.
More than 35 businesses have got involved this year to help organisers raise the £15,000 to run the celebration. Exeter's Pride started 15 years ago when co-founder Alan Quick heard 'there's no gay people in Exeter' the morning after he'd DJ'd to a crowd of 200 LGBT+ people.
Russell Back is one of the many new volunteers who've stepped in to help run the event, who said: "The amount of colour and sparkles and glitter there's going to be on the day.
"It's going to be a joyous celebration with some great music, some lovely entertainment - but the main thing is just the joy, the positivity, the inclusivity and everyone just feeling seen, loved and welcomed."
He says the Pride aims to promote the 'amazing, strong communities' in the city, adding: "One thing that I've absolutely loved about getting involved in Exeter Pride is finding out all the different community groups there are - all the different LGBTQ+ organisations like the cycling club, the bouldering club and dog walking club."
