Exeter and Plymouth first to get new Wilko stores
The chain's owners are planning five 'concept stores' to open before the end of the year
Just weeks after the last Wilko stores closed, five new stores are planned - with the first two in Devon.
Plymouth-based CDS Superstores, the owners of The Range, bought the brand and website when the chain collapsed in August.
Now the company has announced five new 'concept stores' which are due to open before the end of the year.
The first two will be in Plymouth and Exeter.
400 stores closed earlier this year leading to the redundancy of almost all its 12,500 workers.
