A Devon woman is raising awareness of disabled people's experiences through a new Christmas campaign.
Ginny Butcher is the creator of #AccessibleAdvent and she hopes to give a platform to those with disabilities to voice their own experiences.
The Plymouth law graduate is encouraging others to share 25 things that could make their lives better throughout December:
"I wanted to do something positive for advent, which would allow disabled people - like myself - to be able to get their voice heard, to be able to discuss our needs, our wants and desires for an accessible world and society."
Ginny - who has muscular dystrophy - hopes to campaign helps others recognise how common it is for disabled people to come across inaccessible things that makes their life difficult.
By people with disabilities sharing simple daily changes that can be made to make every day life more inclusive, Ginny hopes it can educate the wider community.
The feedback has already been very positive, with #AccessibleAdvent trending on Twitter across the UK on the very first day:
"It caught on! People liked the positivity and the fact that they could express what would make their life more accessible using the hashtag. It just seems to have become a movement really."
