Devon's 'Cream Tea World Record' bid falls just 18 people short

Devon today failed in its bid to secure the World record for the biggest ever cream tea - falling just 18 people short.

1,070 gathered in Lympstone for the challenge , just short of the 1,088 who gathered in China in 2019.
