Devon and Cornwall policing museum could open more in future
It currently opens every Friday in Tavistock's Court Gate building between 11am and 3pm
There are hopes Devon and Cornwall's new policing museum could be opened more than once a week in future.
The free-to-enter site is currently only open on a Friday in Tavistock's Court Gate building, between 11am and 3pm but it's hoped that could become more frequent.
The Museum of Policing in Devon and Cornwall collects, preserves and celebrates the history of policing in Devon and Cornwall.
It currently has one thousand exhibits in it's archives of policing material including documents, photographs, and artefacts, and provides an in-depth array of material tracing the social history of the region spanning over two centuries.
The free-to-enter site is run by volunteers and opened for the first time in March.
